Back to Prison or an Addiction Center?
Rapper, actor and family man T.I. and wife, Tiny have been arrested for possession of controlled substances during a traffic stop after making an illegal U-turn. Wait, isn’t this the man who just got out of prison for weapons charges? This means that this isn’t the best decision to make while on probation! T.I. will be lucky if he gets sent to an addiction center, rather than back to prison. T.I. even went out of his way to do an MTV show helping kids stay out of trouble. And only to be arrested with pills, weed and sizzurp in the car – come on now!
Family Treatment for a Role Model
This long-time couple recently made it official by tying the knot. T.I. spoke highly of turning things around and setting a good example for his kids. I wonder how they’ll feel knowing of their parents’ arrest? Looks like it’s family treatment time for T.I. and Tiny. Didn’t they learn from Paris’ recent arrest? Police pulled over her boyfriend’s SUV after they came across a lingering smell of marijuana. Guess what? It was the same case for T.I.!
Addiction Treatment for Sizzurp and More
Before this talk of addiction treatment arises, authorities are currently testing the pills found to see if they are indeed ecstasy. Authorities also confiscated foam cups containing what they believe is “sizzurp”. That would be codeine or hydrocodone laced soda, good stuff! We can’t wait to hear T.I.’s public announcement about how “disappointed” he is in his behavior. These are two grown adults/parents we’re talking about here!
Paris’ Coke Suspicion
Judging by Paris’ latest smug mug shot, are you surprised that she was arrested for possession of cocaine? It’s certainly a surprise that Paris has never been committed to an addiction treatment center with all her past run ins with the law and DUI. The heiress claimed that a small baggie of cocaine was not hers and that the purse belonged to a friend. She then made another excuse that she mistook it for gum. During a traffic stop, a police smelled the suspicious scent of weed wafting from the couple’s car. Paris made a trip to the bathroom as she was accompanied by the police man. After her bathroom stop, Paris reached in her purse for some lip balm when the baggie fell out! Marijuana and cocaine, how much more suspicious could this get?
Excuses to Avoid Drug Treatment Program
Will Paris ever run out of excuses to avoid drug treatment program? She claims that the purse is not hers although it contained her cash, credit cards and a prescription tablet. Officials will have a hard time pinning this crime to Paris as she can easily blame it on someone in her entourage. As for the charges? Paris took the time to Tweet about her appreciation for the love and support of her fans. Seriously, Paris?
Facing Addiction Treatment
It’s funny to see that Paris’ frenemy, Lindsay Lohan, has just been released from addiction treatment while Paris now faces legal trouble. This won’t be taken lightly as Paris is charged with felony drug possession. Let’s see how she weasels her way out of this one. We know that this is one party girl who isn’t willing to change her ways.

Lindsay’s Fourth Stint in Addiction Treatment
Ms. Lindsay Lohan enjoyed an early release from last week but she is still required to undergo outpatient addiction treatment. So, what’s the first place Lindsay decides to hit up? The old Chateau Marmont of course! This hotel/bar/club doesn’t sound like a great idea for an alcoholic who’s still in recovery, does it? However, Lindsay is required to undergo random drug tests twice a week. In addition to being accused of receiving special treatment in jail, Lindsay reportedly had time to work on her line of handbags. Sounds more like a vacation to me!
Getting in Trouble After Drug Addiction Treatment
This will be Lindsay’s fourth stint in drug addiction treatment so hopefully, she’ll really take something away from it. Maybe it’s not such a good idea for her to be running around LA getting chase by the papz. Isn’t anyone on Lindsay’s team warning her about these things? Looks like Lindsay was just pulled over for running a red light on her way to the Chateau. The cops must’ve felt bad for her as they let her go with a simple warning.
The Lohan Addiction Center
On the brink of her rehab release, Lindsay’s father also talked about opening his own addiction center. I wonder how Lindsay feels about this news. One thing for sure is that this family needs to get it together. As usual, Lindsay is back to tweeting again. Do you think it’s true what they say that “some people never change”? I wonder if Lindsay has it in her to change for the better.
A New Approach to Addiction Treatment
Lindsay Lohan was released early from her stay at rehab and her attention-whoring father is already at it. Michael Lohan is venturing into the wonder world of providing drug addiction treatments. Michael has plans for the California rehab to incorporate religion as well as kickboxing. In order to help rehabilitate the body, mind and soul, the program will also include family therapy, meditation and yoga. What about the detox process? Michael plans NOT to use any prescription drugs to help addicts get off the substances that they’re addicted to. In other words, he plans to implement a holistic medicine program.
A Different Kind of Drug and Alcoholism Treatment
When asked what makes this drug and alcoholism treatment program different from the rest, Michael responded that all the activities will help addicts by engaging them in a spiritual connection. The Lohan clan are estranged from Michael and they don’t seem to be appreciating any of these comments that he’s made blasting Lindsay’s drug use. Since his own family won’t listen to him, maybe Michael’s just trying to find other people who will?
A Holistic Addiction Rehabilitation Center
Anyways, someone should tell Michael that opening up an addiction rehabilitation center is no joke. He makes comments about planning this rehab center with a “well-known” person but what for? It seems like everything he does is for his own personal gain. Is he aiming for celebrity clientele? A rehab run by Michael Lohan would actually seem pretty scary, so we’ll see if his plans actually get off the ground.
Undergoing Alcoholism Treatment as a Teen
Drew Barrymore’s new movie, Going the Distance opens next week and she’ll co-star with her real-life beau, Justin Long. Drew’s known for playing quirky roles in romantic comedies and it’s hard to believe her past brushes with drug and alcoholism treatment. As a young girl, Drew began drinking at 11 years old and snorting cocaine at 13. After two stints in rehab and a failed suicide attempt, Drew has put herself back together and even wrote a book detailing her childhood, Little Girl Lost.
A Former Wild Child is Living Sober
Drew’s been living sober her entire adult life and it’s amazing to see that she’s never relapsed. It’s sad to see that most other child stars haven’t been able to take the same path as Drew. Recovering from addiction is a lifelong process and it’s a positive inspiration to see Drew devote her life to her passion, acting.
Writing about Drug Treatment Program
Drew doesn’t shy away from her childhood or the fact that she has been committed to a drug treatment program. Her book has received great praise after readers claim that the biography is enlightening and inspiration. In addition to acting, Drew also has her own production company and even made her directorial debut with 2009’s Whip It. Drew has had a long career in show biz and by overcoming her addiction early on, it looks like she has a long road ahead of her!
Alcoholism Treatment for a Fuller Life
From playing the high school bully in Dazed and Confused to his new role as a bank robber in The Town, Ben Affleck is known for his wide ranging acting abilities. Very few actors can pull off starring in Mall Rats and Pearl Harbor. After a personal struggle with alcohol addiction in 2001, Ben finally made the wise decision to enter alcoholism treatment. His spokesman publicly announced that “Ben is a self-aware and smart man who had decided that a fuller life awaits him without alcohol.” Alongside wife, Jennifer Garner, the couple now have 2 daughters.
Celebrities at an Addiction Center
Ben didn’t have to enter rehab alone though. Many other celebrities have found themselves trying to sort out their addictions at rehab. Other famous stars have also completed rehab at the Promises rehab addiction center, including Paula Poundstone and Robert Downey Jr. Since rehab completion, there have been rumors that Ben has been drinking again but there haven’t been any real incidents to prove so. After addiction treatment, Ben has found success again and we’re glad to see that he’s finally settled down!
Addiction Therapy for Prescription Pills
After Brittany Murphy’s untimely death, rumors of drug addiction and anorexia swirled. An autopsy showed that the actress suffered from pneumonia and had been prescribed numerous medications. Addiction therapy was brought up as the actress seem more recluse and looked unhealthy during the last years of her life. Months after her death, Brittany’s husband, Simon Monjack died under suspiciously same consequences.
Family Treatment and Treating the Whole
Brittany’s mother, had been living with the couple and was the one who found her daughter. After Brittany’s death, her mom continued to live in the same house as Simon. Unfortunately, she was also the one who discovered Simon’s body. It’s hard to look back now, but perhaps, family treatment could help this struggling family with their problems. An autopsy showed that Simon had suffered from pneumonia 9 times in the past. He also had problems with his heart and seizures.
Addiction Center for Help
If Brittany’s death has showed us anything, it’s that family is important when it comes to recognizing addiction problems. This can be painful to deal with alone and many families will find themselves ignoring the problem in hopes that it will go away. An addiction center and rehab can help your loved one get the treatment that they need. Recovery is possible and there is nothing worse than seeing the one you love suffer. Don’t let your story end like Brittany and Simon’s tragedy.
A Wrestler’s Struggle with Addiction
Tragedy strikes once again for the WWE. Former wrestler Lance ‘Cade’ McNaught passed away this past week at the age of twenty nine. McNaught was well-known in the wrestling arena for his part in the Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels feud. The organization has had problems with McNaught and drug use when he encountered an incident aboard a flight. The wrestler reportedly took too many painkillers and went into a seizure. Luckily, nothing serious happened that time but the WWE’s Wellness Policy should address drug addiction treatment more seriously. How many more wrestlers have to die from drug addiction before they step in?
Tragedy without Addiction Therapy
The details of McNaught’s death is tragic as he leaves behind his family and 2 young daughters. As of now, the official cause of death is of heart failure. Prior to his death, McNaught had not been feeling and was even taken to the hospital when he had difficulty breathing. The hospital released McNaught under his own will the next day. Earlier this year, McNaught underwent a 30-day addiction therapy program.
Addiction Rehabilitation Services for Painkillers
Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero are just two of many prominent wrestlers who died before the age of 40. This seems to be a common occurrence in the wrestling world. Addiction rehabilitation services should be offered as wrestlers have a rough career. In conjunction with steroid use, wrestlers may also begin to use painkillers to cope with injuries. Like some athletes after retirement, wrestlers find themselves dealing with drug dependency without any word for help.

Success with Addiction Treatment
You may not know him by name, but you’ll definitely know him for his tough guy roles. Danny Trejo has portrayed convicts, thugs and overall, just very bad guys on the big screen. As director Robert Rodriguez’ cousin, Danny has been featured in the Spy Kids movie and will star in the upcoming Machete. It’s interesting to see how Danny’s onscreen life has mirrored his past troubled life. Before addiction treatment set him straight, Danny spent time in jail and on the streets where he became addicted to drugs.
Opportunities After Drug Treatment Program
Jails are often known for drug treatment program and other options for their inmates. Danny spent time in San Quentin State Prison where he became a boxing champ. As for getting his career back on track, Danny credits his sobriety to 12-step program for helping him get over his addictions. Not bad for a former convict huh? Danny’s co-stars include an impressive list of Hollywood stars such as: George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Will Ferrell, Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp. Danny has had a wide variety of roles during his career and it wouldn’t be possible without overcoming addiction.
Thankful for a Wide Ranging Career
Addiction therapy has helped Danny overcoming his past troubles and he now often takes on bad guy roles. When asked why, Danny says that his goal is to show younger audiences that being the bad guy doesn’t pay off and that they will either die or end up in jail. Danny doesn’t have to worry about being typecast into playing this character though. He’s also played the good guy, been featured on cartoon shows, video games, and even a Jonas Brothers music video!

Partying Weeks after an Accidental Overdose
Wasn’t Jennifer Capriati hospitalized just a few weeks ago for an “accidental” drug overdose? Earlier this week, Jennifer was caught chatting it up with friends at a club. Nothing too unusual, right? EXCEPT that she had a nose full of sugar booger aka cocaine residue! Check out the pictures for yourself, what do you think? Homegirl needs to make a commitment to an addiction center and quick. She reportedly attempted suicide in June after learning that her former ex was making a return to adult films. Yikes!
Former Tennis Star Has Drugs in Her Past
This must be pretty embarrassing for someone who was the number one tennis player in the world at one point. How the mighty have fallen… If Jennifer doesn’t handle this problem with drug addiction treatment, it won’t be a surprise to see her on the next season of Celebrity Rehab. They are in need of more washed up stars, aren’t they? Jennifer has had a history of drug and alcohol abuse and at 24, it’s time her to settle down with living sober. Don’t you agree?
